Connected and committed to the community.
Cunat seeks to build a continuum of trust with its clients and the community.
Since Cunat was founded more than 25 years ago, we have kept community involvement a priority for both the company and
individual team members. Whether they require additional free time, manpower or financial support, we stand behind
our co-workers as they independently pursue those causes that are most important to them.
As a company, we sponsor annual holiday food drive at each property and make substantial donations of money, time and
materials to public and private schools in the area. We have provided emergency housing for fire victims and also
donated our services on a $750,000 church addition.
Brian and John Cunat volunteer their time with a variety of community organizations. Brian has been most active in the Kiwanis; holding past positions as International President of Kiwanis International, Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District, as well as President of the Kiwanis Club of McHenry.
John has focused his attention on the Rotary organization and has been named Rotarian of the Year three times.
While President, he also served as chairman of many additional projects. Much of John's free time is spent in the
company of youngsters. Through his volunteerism, he supports CABA - an international baseball tournament based in Crystal
Lake.
Our company emphasizes environmental responsibility as well as social responsibility. In McHenry County, we
support ecology through local organizations and practice water and soil conservation. When selecting sites for
development, we first consider those that are unsuitable for farming. Recently, we transformed a former spoils land into a high-quality, tax-paying property. We also promote environmental awareness among our customers, furnishing
our multi-family communities and office complexes with recycling bins and encouraging them to get involved with programs
such as Earth Day clean-ups.
Whatever the project, our company seeks always to build a continuum of trust with its clients and the surrounding
community. First and foremost, we strive to be a good neighbor. |
